What SMP is

Thousands of dots. One illusion.

Using fine needles and pigments matched to your hair and skin tone, each dot mimics a shaved follicle. Done well — layered over several sessions, with a hairline drawn for your face — the eye reads it as hair. Done badly it reads as ink, which is why the artistry matters more than the machine.

Is it just a tattoo?
Different pigments, different depth, different needles, different craft. SMP pigments are formulated to hold a natural grey-brown tone rather than turning blue, and each dot is sized to a follicle — it's closer to medical micro-artistry than body tattooing.
Will it fade or change colour?
It softens gradually over several years and can be refreshed. Quality pigments applied at the correct depth age to a lighter version of the same tone — not blue. We show you honestly what ageing looks like at consultation.
Can SMP hide my old transplant scar?
Usually very well — strip scars from surgery elsewhere are one of the most common things we camouflage. Assessment is honest: some scar types take pigment better than others.
