Before. After. Nothing retouched.

Real cases from our files — hairline, crown and beard. Patient photographs are published exactly as received, and every caption tells you who held the camera.

Drag to compare — photographed in the same light, nothing retouched

Our authenticity pledge. Same lighting, same angle, no retouching, real graft counts. Patient photography is being prepared for this page — the plates shown are illustrative.

The authenticity pledge

Two kinds of photograph. One rule: untouched.

Clinical photographs are taken in the clinic to one standard — same light, same angles. The rest are our patients’ own: taken at home, on their phones, in whatever light their bathroom had that morning. We publish both exactly as they are — no filters, no retouching, no exceptions — and every caption says which is which. If a gallery looks too consistent to be true, it usually is.

Hairline & mid-scalp — FUE

Four files from the FUE ledger.

Before-and-after plates from our patient records. Where the after was taken at home, the caption says so — and nothing is retouched either way.

And the results? Better than I imagined. I am genuinely thrilled that I chose to have this done here in England rather than going abroad.

Knowing that the lead surgeon was personally overseeing every stage of the process provided a great deal of reassurance.

Graft counts for these files are confirmed against theatre records at your consultation. We print only the numbers we can stand behind.

A published case file

Abdul — 1,500 grafts, start to finish.

A 26-year-old accountant from London, restored across a single surgical day under local anaesthetic — one of the case files published in full in our records.

Beard transplants

A beard, from drawn line to grown line.

A beard is designed before it is placed — the line is drawn by hand, agreed with you in the mirror, and only then built follicle by follicle. The five frames below are one patient’s file, from first pen stroke to grown result.

Crown & vertex

The whorl, closed.

The crown is the hardest area to restore well — grafts must follow the spiral, and the result is judged over twelve to eighteen months, not weeks. Photographed from above, honestly.

Eyebrow & female restoration

Documented privately, by request.

Eyebrow transplants

Brow work is intimate by nature — single follicles, placed one by one to a drawn line, on the most looked-at part of a face. Most of our brow patients decline publication, and we protect that without exception. At consultation, your surgeon walks you through comparable brow files privately.

Female hair restoration

Female restoration is the most private file we keep. Our female patients almost always choose confidentiality — so those cases are shown one-to-one at consultation: parting density, hairline softening and crown work, with the numbers attached. And when a patient chooses to speak publicly, we film it properly.

Reading a result honestly

A result is grown, not revealed.

Any clinic showing you a “one month miracle” is showing you something else. This is the honest curve:

Months 0–3Transplanted hairs shed first — normal, and temporary. Healing completes quietly.
Months 3–6New growth begins — fine at first, thickening month by month.
Months 6–9Density builds visibly; the design starts reading as your own hairline.
Month 12The result is judged — at your twelve-month review, with your surgeon.

How this gallery works

We publish with consent, or not at all.

Every case on this page is a real City Clinics patient, published with permission. Some categories show fewer photographs than others — because many patients choose privacy, and we think a clinic that respects that is one you can trust with your own photographs. The gallery grows only as consents are given.

Want to see more cases like yours? At consultation your surgeon walks you through comparable results privately, including the files we’ll never publish.

Real patient on the morning of surgery, and the moment graft placement finished

Surgery morning, and the moment placement finished — the stage most galleries won’t show you. Published as received.

About results

Fair questions about any gallery.

Are these photographs real patients?
Yes — the case files on this page are real City Clinics patients, drawn from our records and published with consent. Photographs marked patient-submitted are shown exactly as received, in whatever light and camera they were taken with; clinical photographs are taken in the clinic to one standard. The interactive preview at the top of the page remains clearly marked illustrative while further consent releases are completed.
Will my result look like these?
Your result depends on your donor capacity, your pattern and your plan — no honest clinic promises you someone else’s head. At consultation your surgeon shows you comparable cases and tells you honestly what your hair can support.
Why don’t all cases show a graft count?
Because we only print numbers we can tie to theatre records. Where a count is published — like Abdul’s 1,500-graft file — we show it; for the rest, your surgeon confirms comparable counts at consultation, against the records. A number that can’t be verified is marketing, not evidence.
