Industry award entries will be added here as the clinic's submissions conclude — each with its awarding body and year, so it can be verified like everything else on this page.
What the letters actually mean
Memberships, translated.
Every clinic prints acronyms in its footer. Very few explain them, which rather defeats the point.
CQC
The Care Quality Commission — the statutory regulator. It inspects, rates and can close a service. Registration is not optional and not decorative.
GMC
The General Medical Council — the register every practising UK doctor must appear on. You can look up any of our surgeons by name in under a minute.
ISHRS
The International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery — the global specialty body for this exact operation, and where its evidence base is argued out.
RSM & BACS
The Royal Society of Medicine and the British Association of Cosmetic Surgeons — the professional company a surgeon keeps, and the standards that come with it.

Do not take our word for it. Go and check.
Search the CQC register for our location ID. Search the GMC register for your surgeon’s name. Read the Google reviews we did not write and cannot delete. If a clinic ever discourages you from doing exactly this, you have learned something important about that clinic.
Why we list registrations before trophies.
A regulator can walk into this building unannounced. A ratings platform lets any patient say anything, in public, forever. That scrutiny is worth more than any gala evening — which is why the top of this page belongs to the CQC, the GMC and our patients.
