Home·About·Quality & Governance
Inspected. Regulated. Accountable by name.
Cosmetic surgery in the UK is full of confident claims. Governance is what separates claims from care — this page sets out exactly who regulates us, what they found, and how the clinic is run.
IThe regulator
Registered with the CQC — and rated Good.
The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health care in England. City Clinics Group Limited is a registered provider — location ID 1-19883695288 — inspected against the same fundamental standards as any hospital: safe, effective, caring, responsive, well-led.
Our current rating is Good. The full report is public on the CQC register, and we would far rather you read it than take our word for anything on this page.

IIHow the clinic is governed
Governance you can actually check.

IIIIn the theatre
Hospital standards, not salon standards.
Hair restoration sits in an awkward place: cosmetic in its purpose, surgical in its reality. We treat it entirely as the latter.
- Single-use where single-use belongs — punches and blades are never carried between patients.
- Traceable sterilisation — instrument sets logged to the procedure they were opened for.
- One theatre, one list, one patient — the simplest infection-control policy there is.
- Resuscitation equipment and trained staff on site whenever a procedure is running.
IVWhen something goes wrong
Duty of candour, taken literally.
Every surgical service has complications. The measure of a clinic is not whether it has them — it is what happens in the room afterwards.
If surgery is not right for you, you will hear it here first.
Good governance includes saying no. Unstable loss, unrealistic expectations, a donor area that will not support the plan — these end in a candid conversation, not a booking. It is the least glamorous part of quality care, and the most important.
