After your PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) or Mesotherapy treatment, you might experience some mild redness or swelling in the treated areas. These side effects are temporary and will fade within a few hours to a couple of days.

To ensure proper healing, we recommend applying a soothing gel and avoiding any direct pressure on the treated areas.

What Is PRP?

PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, a medical treatment that can help with hair loss. The procedure involves the centrifugation of a blood sample with concentrated plasma, to separate the platelets and red & white blood cells. The platelets then injected into the patient’s scalp where balding and hair thinning have occurred.

Platelets that are found within blood plasma contact nutrients that offer many growth factors. These factors stimulate hair follicles that are otherwise dormant and produce collagen to help the hair grow and thicken. This type of therapy is highly effective as it extends the growth cycle of the hair follicles treated.

The total time for treatment can range between 60 – 90 minutes, with a quick recovery time – allowing patients to return to their daily activities quite soon. We recommend starting with a course of 3 treatments, spread out over 2-4 weeks.

What Is Mesotherapy?

A non-invasive treatment that uses microinjections, into target tissues below the epidermis. The solution (containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids, co-enzymes and nucleic acids) is injected 1mm into the scalp, stimulating the mesoderm and allowing hair follicles to grow and survive. Moreover, it decreases the excess DHT, ensuring it is neutralised and stimulates blood circulation.
