Am I a good candidate for a hair transplant?

Most men with a stable donor area are. The honest answer comes at your consultation: KE-Bot measures your donor density and your surgeon tells you plainly whether surgery is right for you — and will say so if it isn't.

Is the result permanent?

Yes. Transplanted follicles are taken from areas that are genetically resistant to hair loss, so they behave like the hair they came from — that is why the donor area is chosen so carefully. We may still advise on protecting the non-transplanted hair around them.

Does it hurt, and what is the recovery like?

The procedure is carried out under local anaesthetic, so most patients are comfortable throughout. You will look a little pink for a few days; the majority are back at work within a week.

Will there be visible scarring?

FUE leaves no linear scar. Each follicle is extracted through a tiny individual point that heals and fades to near-invisible — even if you later wear your hair very short.

How many grafts will I need — and what will it cost?

It depends on your pattern and your goals. Our estimator gives a realistic range in seconds, and your exact figure is confirmed by KE-Bot at consultation. Your quote is fixed and all-inclusive — confirmed at consultation before you commit to anything.

Who actually performs the surgery?

Your surgeon, from first consultation to final placement. The hairline design, the extraction, the implantation — one patient a day, all performed by his hands. At no point are you passed to an unsupervised technician.

How long until I see the result?

Transplanted hairs shed first — this is normal. New growth appears at around three to four months, and full density arrives at nine to twelve months.

Do you offer finance?

Yes. 0% APR finance is available over 6 or 24 months, always subject to the lender's assessment. A deposit may be required, and we agree that with you before you apply. What happens when.

Days 1–3 · Saline, little and often

Mist the grafts through the waking day, sleep elevated, let the swelling do its unglamorous work. Your kit has everything; the 24-hour line has the rest.

Day 2 · Your first wash — done by us

You come back in and we wash your hair for you, showing you the technique your scalp needs for the week ahead.

Days 4–7 · Washing at home

The provided shampoo, warm water, no pressure. Redness settles for most patients across this week.

Days 8–14 · The scabs lift

Gentle massage at wash softens them away. Your two-week review falls here — your surgeon checks the grafts, not a photograph.

Weeks 3–4 · Back to normal

Haircuts, training and pools come back in stages — your exact windows are confirmed at review rather than guessed from a leaflet.

Months 2–4 · The quiet phase

Transplanted hairs commonly shed before they regrow. It looks like a step backwards; it’s the cycle working.

Months 4–6 · First real growth

Density starts to build — your three- and six-month reviews measure it against the plan.

Months 12–18 · The result matures

Hairlines arrive first, crowns take longest. The twelve-month review closes your year; the result keeps refining after it.

When can I go back to work?

Most patients are back at a desk within a few days. Small scabs and redness are visible for the first week or so; we’ll tell you honestly what to expect for your case, and how to time it around your diary.

When can I exercise, swim or wear a hat?

Light walking almost immediately; the gym, swimming and headwear each have their own safe return points in your written day-by-day plan — and if you’re unsure on the day, that’s what the 24-hour line is for.

What if something doesn’t look right?

Call us — day or night. A photo over the 24-hour line usually settles it in minutes, and if we want to see you, you come in. Recovery concerns are handled by the clinical team, never a script.

Is the aftercare really included — no extras?

All of it — the kit, the medication, four reviews, four PRP sessions and the 24-hour line are inside your fixed quote. Nothing is added on the day, and nothing is added afterwards.
