SMP Scalp Micro Pigmentation

After your SMP (Scalp Micro Pigmentation) treatment, you may notice some redness or slight swelling in the treated areas, but this will subside in a few hours.

To protect the treated scalp and support the healing process, we apply a soothing ointment and cover the area with a protective bandage if necessary.

For detailed instructions on when and how to safely remove any covering, you can follow our comprehensive guide.

SMP Scalp Micro Pigmentation

What Is SMP?

At City Clinics, we also offer the procedure of Scalp Micro Pigmentation – (SMP) an alternative solution for hair loss. A technique that implements natural pigments to the scalp, imitating the appearance of a shaved head for patients with little to no hair or precise hair stroke markings for the eyebrow.

Will SMP Work For Me?

Several people have benefited from our SMP procedure. The technique can conceal hair loss by creating small dots that replicate a shaven head all over the scalp. In some cases, the treatment can even hide scarring. For eyebrows, we can add pigment in specific hair strokes to add fullness to the existing hairs, and again cover scar tissue if present. SMP works well for all hair and skin types so our clinic offers both permanent and semi-permanent options such that all of our patients can achieve the results they require.
